Homecoming is one of the most popular events of the year not similar to prom. It is for the underclassmen, it is the only event that comes close to being as formal. Most homecomings are actually considered semi-formal, meaning you're looking to dress up, but do not look too dressed. Here are a few ideas to help pick the perfect semi-formal outfit for homecoming.
Above the knee
Choose a dress that ends up above the knees wearing to homecoming. Formal wear tends to end in the vicinity of the ankle or past. By definition, homecoming dresses can end up below the knee, but does not touch the ground, but above the knee is more youthful look. A garment having a loose skirt bottom or a garment of suitable shape may be considered semi-formal.
High-Spirited Colors and Prints
Choose colorful or multi-color printing homecoming dress. Formal dresses has a monochrome trend; multi-color printing is more semi-formal and interesting. But you also can wear monochrome garments, such as white or black, but keep it above the knees.
Just for Glitz
Add some glittering earrings, necklaces or bracelets to your homecoming dress. More fabulous accessories add a little serious and charismatic semi-formal dress. Wearing a soft pearl or other less beautiful jewelry for a man-made diamond or other glittering bead will keep the focus on the dress rather than formal.
For Guys
For guys semi-formal wear, coupled with a tight tie and a white shirt. Top it with black, half casual suit jacket. The suit jacket will remain formal, but adding a thin tie and rolling up the sleeves will add a little more fun to the look. Add a nice pair of pants to this appearance but avoid re-pleating tuxedo paint. For lesser forms, take off the suit jacket completely, choose a vest or just a snap-fitting shirt. People can try colors other than black and white. For example, beige vests with matching pants are semi-formal.
