When we select the wedding dress, first of all thing is know your own body type. And then according to your body type to choose the right wedding dress. There are four general body shapes that are used most often: apple, pear, banana, and hourglass.
Banana (Straight or Athletic) – If your shoulders, bust and hips are roughly the same size and your waist isn't much smaller then you've got a straight or an athletic body type.
Apple (Inverted Triangle) – If your shoulders and/or bust are larger than your hips then you've got an inverted triangle body type
Pear - Your hips are wider than your shoulders. You have a great, defined waist.
Hourglass – If your shoulders, bust and hips are roughly the same size but your waist is at least 25% smaller than your hips then you've got an hourglass body type
How to dress for your body type: What flatters me?
A Classic Line: The best style of dress for hourglass shape is a-line that will make you feel gorgeous, covered and elegant. You may notice this trend: almost any body type looks great on the A-line dress. It will highlight your waist whether or not it is defined, will make your hips more slender and will give your "girl" great support and definition.
